The Collin County Master Gardeners maintain a vegetable garden that not only produces an abundance of fresh produce but also serves as a demonstration and research garden. Using EarthKind principles and custom-made row covers, the garden's volunteers work around 1,500 hours annually to maintain the garden and perform data collection for research purposes. 

Did you know Collin County has a free botanical garden?? The 158-acre Myers Park and Event Center is located in northern McKinney where you will see the handiwork of hundreds of Collin County Master Gardeners.
