Master Gardener Events
Our annual events provide gardeners the opportunity to purchase plants and to learn more about gardening in North Texas. These fundraisers help support research and demonstration gardens and other educational presentations and workshops throughout the year.
Upcoming Public Events
For our public, in-person gatherings, you are encouraged to wear a mask, observe social distancing of 6 feet and provide a contact number when attending the event.
Arbor Day Information Booth
Arbor Day Celebration in a beautiful setting at Glendover Park. Come see the Master Gardeners and get questions answered on Trees and more at this event. Best time to plant trees is between leaf FALL and bud break! Come learn how to do that properly and care for your new tree to get it off to a good start!
Tree Planting on Wilson Creek
Come out and help plant trees and restore the restore the canopy along Wilson Creek. The CCMGA Information Booth will be at this event along the old golf course trail near entry #1 to help share tree information and more. If you wish to help out go to city of McKinney website and sign up as a waiver must be signed by Oct 22nd , but there will be on site hard copies if you forget. A lot of people make this task easier. Trees of various kinds and sizes will be planted. Holes are pre dug and you will have people helping tell you how to plant on site. Thanks for any help you can give.
LOWES Master Gardeners Days
Collin County Master Gardeners will be at Lowes along with Dallas Master Gardeners to answer you gardening and landscape questions. Come on out and see us in the outdoor Garden Center from 10 am- 2pm.
PUCKETT'S Ask a Gardener Days
Come out to Puckett's Nursery and ask your gardening and landscape questions from your friendly and informative Collin County Master Gardeners who will be there for the last time this Fall. Look for them under the big tree out back where the CCMGA sign is standing tall.
