Speaker's Bureau

Master Gardener speaker at Myers Park and Event Center

TEACHING AND SHARING GARDENING IN COLLIN COUNTY

Holiday Break
November 1 through January 31 is a Holiday Break for the CCMGA Speakers Bureau. This offers time for volunteers to spend time with their families as we all do. During this window, our Speakers Bureau will not be booking engagements. The Speakers Bureau will reopen on February 1.

Do you need a speaker for your Collin County community group, neighborhood association or club?

Master Gardeners who participate in the Speakers Bureau enjoy sharing their talents and specialized knowledge to help make gardening in Collin County more enjoyable. Members of our Speakers Bureau are dedicated to sharing well-researched horticultural information and are prepared with a variety of lively talks, demonstrations, and PowerPoint presentations.

Available presentations include topics covering  Earth-Kind® principles and practices, soils and composting, diseases and insects, vegetables, and water conservation  practices. First, view our Presentation Previews to see a list of our available presentations. Then fill out the Speaker Request form. Our Speaker's Bureau project leader will help you locate and schedule a speaker on a topic of interest to your organization.

*Please plan ahead and allow at least three weeks for scheduling your presentation. As a service organization of volunteers, we strive to fill as many speaking requests as possible. Due to demand, there may be requests that we are not able to fulfill.
