Ask the Master Gardener
Ask the Master Gardener is a mobile horticulture education project of Collin County AgriLife Extension services with Collin County-trained Master Gardeners. We come to you!
CCMGA presents research-based information at numerous events annually. We want the community to garden and landscape more successfully (and economically) using best environmental practices. By learning from Texas AgriLife publications that are specific for our area, everyone can garden successfully!
NEW! Ask the Master Gardener also has a free poster series for indoor events that can be reserved for business lobbies, eating, and other gathering places. They are a self-guided tour of our most popular horticultural topics of interest.
If floor space is limited, we have a coordinated mini-poster bulletin board series that can be used almost anywhere.
All have QR code links to our CCMGA, AgriLife, and Texas A&M horticulture libraries.
If you would like to schedule Ask the Master Gardener to attend your event, please contact us using the Schedule an Ask the Master Gardener Booth link button on this page! There is also a separate link for our Speakers Bureau if you need speakers.
We are happy to provide materials for parent/child garden projects at live events upon request.
Our community participation includes:
- Allen/Collin County Spring and Fall Home and Garden Shows
- Frisco Spring Home and Garden Show
- Cates Control Systems Earth-Kind® bulletin board display
- Plano Spring Fest, hosted by the First Baptist Church of Plano
- Lowe’s popup Saturday events
- Puckett’s popup events in Allen with various speakers
- Earth Day 2023 events hosted by (1) Vanguard in Frisco, the cities of (2) McKinney and (3) Anna, and (4) the Rahda Krishna Temple in Allen
We are asked to participate in several events throughout the year, plan ahead by scheduling early.
