Ask The Master Gardener

Upon request the Collin County Master Gardeners disseminate sound, research-based horticultural information to the public via our Ask the Master Gardener Booths at numerous public events throughout the year. Some of the Master Gardener events we can be found at are The Garden Show, The Plant Sale, Walk in the Park, Edible Gardening 101. Community events include the Allen Home & Garden Show, Frisco Home & Garden Show, McKinney Farmer's Market at Chestnut Square, Arbor Day in Lucas, Earth Day at UTD.
At each event the Ask the Master Gardener Booth is staffed with knowledgeable Master Gardeners to answer garden related questions. We also provide information via "subject" books the pages of which the public can photograph to print later.
If your organization is planning a special event and you would like to schedule Master Gardeners to share gardening information with your guests and/or customers in a friendly, one-on-one way, please feel free to contact us. We are also happy to provide plant-related activities and materials for children.
Since we are asked to participate in a number of scheduled events throughout the year, please plan ahead. Allow a few days for a response to your e-mail; the Master Gardener Information Center is not staffed 24/7.
