Information Center

Master gardener responding to public inquiry at the Extension Office

Whether you're new to Collin County, to the State of Texas, or just to gardening in general, we're here to help!

Several days a week, Master Gardeners staff the CCMGA Information Center answering horticultural questions from the public. Questions such as . . .

"How can I save my oak tree?"

          "What will bloom in shade?"

"What berry varieties can I plant?"

These are just a few of the hundreds of questions answered by Master Gardeners through the CCMGA Information Center of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service – Collin County. Our volunteers have received extensive training enabling them to provide sound, research-based advice utilizing results from research studies performed by universities as well as our library of horticultural reference books.
