Welcome to the Collin County Master Gardeners Website!

We are an educational service organization of volunteers trained in horticulture, landscaping, soil improvement, water conservation and many other subjects of importance to Texas gardeners.

Our members serve the citizens of Collin County in a wide variety of ways including, but not limited to:

• Projects, such as guest lectures, information booths and other public education efforts
• Consultation at the Texas AgriLife Extension Service, Collin County Office, and through this informational site.

Gardening remains the No. 1 hobby in the United States. Here in Collin County -- despite climatic extremes and challenging soils -- it is a highly popular pursuit. The secrets of working with this area's special conditions are what Master Gardeners have spent long hours learning and sharing. We're happy to pass along some of that gardening know-how to you!
