Several days a week, Master Gardeners staff the CCMGA Information Center answering horticultural questions from the public. Questions such as . . .
"How can I save my oak tree?"
"What will bloom in shade?"
"What berry varieties can I plant?"
These are just a few of the hundreds of questions answered by Master Gardeners through the CCMGA Information Center of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service – Collin County. These volunteers have received extensive training that enables them to give sound, research-based advice and have access to a library of horticultural reference books that enables them to look up answers to baffling questions. Volunteers are often able to provide PDFs, printed brochures or handouts as well.
Collin County Master Gardeners volunteer thousands of hours researching answers for those who call, e-mail or drop by the office at 825 N. McDonald Street in McKinney.
